parking in burlington?

If we stay at a hotel a few miles from downtown, how easy/hard is it to drive in to park? It sounds as if this would be the area for dining, shopping, wandering about, besides other various attractions.

It's crazy easy to find parking downtown. If you don't find a spot on the street, you can park in one of the two large parking garages on either side of the Church Street marketplace.

The only time I've ever had a hard time finding parking was during the Christmas season or New Year's eve.

If you wait to go into Burlington on Sundays, there is tons of free parking. Check out the indoor mall at Macy's to see if you can get parking based on a purchase or reduced??? Maybe a Burlington expert would know about this? There is a web site to show parking at www.ci.burlington.vt.us or www.churchstmarketplace.com - gives you a map of downtown for parking opportunities plus rates. It's a easy walk down to the waterfront and activities.

Good luck.

Agreed, it's easy to find parking within a few blocks of anywhere. (And there are 3 large parking garages, where it's ~$1/hour)

Piece of cake. :)
