Holiday accommodation in Burlington

Hi, We are coming to Burlington from Ireland to visit our daughter who is a post graduate student in UVM. Can anyone recommend fairly central accommodation, for 2 weeks in July. I have been looking for self-catering, but there does not seem to be any. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks.

Here's one place I recommend:

Hawthorn Suites

401 Dorset St.

South Burlington, VT 05403

(800) 527-1133

(802) 860-1212

(802) 860-1800 - Fax

Just a mile from the airport, a mile or so from downtown Burlington and the lake, walking distance on a nice day to UVM

Doneraile, did you check vrbo.com and cyberrantals.com? I had a good luck with renting a cabin listed with cyberrentals and noticed some time ago there is one condo in Burlington on Church Street but a price for this rental is not posted. Also Residence Inn by Marriott has large suites with full kitchens. It is located in Williston but for two weeks you have to have a car anyway. I stayed at this Residence Inn in Williston several times and many times in other Residence's around the country. They are all wonderful except one in Gainesville, FL but you are not going there anyway. I'll be in Burlington at the end of May and June for 5 weeks teaching a post graduate class. Maybe I'll see you around.

I can second the Hawthorn Suites. I stayed there a few months back for a "girls night out" and the accommodations were great.
