Leaves changing yet?

Does anyone know if the leaves are changing yet at Sundance and Wolf Creek? Thanks.

Haven't been down to Sundance, but it's usually similar to what we have here in Park City. The very first sign we had on color was just a week ago. Today we have some decent color change in oaks, but only a small percentage of vegetation has turned. Color is very vibrant, though - I was out photographing tonight. In fact, it's the most vivid early color I've seen. We're definitely a few weeks behind normal.

I would suspect that this weekend would be very nice in Sundance and Wolf Creek, and the following weekend even better.

Tumbleweed, I'm going to be driving from Midway to Salt Lake City this weekend. Any idea which way would be better for fall color .....over Guardsman Pass from Park City, or Alpine Loop/Sundance/Timpanogos? Thanks.

Either way would be good. Maybe base it on what else you've done. I think Alpine Loop would give you a wide range of color, but Guardsman will give you Big Cottonwood, which is a fantastic drive whether color or not. If you do go via Guardsman consider a short 20-30 minute hike around Silver Lake at Brighton.

Thanks, Tumblewood. I did Guardsman / Big Cottonwood recently. I just wasn't sure about fall color. Thanks!
