Park City/March 2014

We will be spending 5 nights in park City. We plan to ski all 3 ski areas. We are in our early 50's, and want to be able to walk or easy access to bus or walking to town for the evenings.

I have looked at 1 bedroom condo's in Snowcrest and Park Avenue Condominiums. We will have a car also as we are staying in SLC for a work trip prior.

Please advise me on benefits/negatives on either of these condo locations. We are looking for budget accommodations as we do not plan to be indoors much.

Thank you. .

Greetings hockeymom.

Looking at Google Maps with the properties you indicated, shows that they are within a tenth of a mile of one another. The nearest bus stop is right in between the two properties. Snowcrest is the one closer to PCMR and would be about a five minute walk to the ticket counter.

Main Street Park City is about one mile away and should be easy to access via the bus. If you want to drive to Main street, there is a large, free parking garage on Swede Alley and 4th street, one block away from Main.

Deer Valley will be a 3-mile drive from either of these condos and The Canyons will be about 4-miles the opposite direction.

Have fun and others may have additional suggestions for accommodations too.

All private units so quality depends on the units themselves. As noted, both are similar location. It's an OK location for access to bus and you can walk to PCMR. You can also walk to Main Street but it's a hike. Same with plaza at PCMR. You do have a few restaurants (Chez Betty, Squatters) in reasonable walking distance. You don't actually need the car if you want to save the hassle.

Have fun.
