Shuttle service

We are planning a trip to Park City of the holidays and are having a hard time finding a place that is walking distance to town/skiing that will fit our group for our price! So, we are looking at some places a little farther out of town that we usually do and are wondering how well the shuttle service is from homes on the way out to Deer Valley into town. We have multiple kids ages 12-17 and want to allow them as much independence as possible. If we get a house close to a shuttle stop, should we expect it will be very simple for kids (and adults who don't want to drive!) to get themselves to the mountain and/or out for pizza or something? Will they have to transfer buses?

Not really sure where you're looking. Deer Valley is pretty much in town. There's a free bus that covers the entire community. Do you have some property names or addresses? The bus system is pretty simple and you can also limit where you want to go if you want to avoid transfers. And the primary transfer point is in the center of town.

Good luck.
