Park City August 2013 for 1-2 Months Stay

We are visiting Park City for 1 to 2 months next summer, staying in a rental condo. We are looking for non-touristy things to do as well as golf and hiking. Any day trip or multiple day trip suggestions?

Pretty much unlimited options. Here's a few suggestions:

- Hiking (or biking) on 400 miles of marked trails in Park City (www.mountaintrails.org)

- Hiking in Uintahs 45-60 minutes east of Park City

- Hiking in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon

- More than a dozen public golf courses within 30-45 minutes, including Park City's own municipal course; quite a diversity of public courses in nearby Midway

- Four hours to Moab (Arches/Canyonlands)

- Five hours to GTNP/Yellowstone

- Four hours to Bryce Canyon

- Five hours to Zion

- Two hours to Bonneville Salt Flats

- Free concerts most nights (www.mountaintownmusic.org)

- Major (paid) concerts 2-3 nights/week

- Touristy, but 2002 Olympic Museum and Utah Olympic Park

- Summer biking, zip lining, alpine slide at local ski resorts

That's a sampling. Do you have the condo location yet?

Have fun. Summer is a great time to be here.

We just got back and had a fantastic hike to Stewart Falls at the Sundance ski resort (about a 45 minute drive from PC). You can either take the chairlift up and hike 1.5 miles to the falls (not a terribly difficult hike); and then continue down the mountain another 1.5 miles back to the resort; or you can do the hike up and down without the chairlift. I was amazed at how much water was in the falls at the end of July, especially after the weak winter this year. If I were you I'd also go to the national parks, or slot canyons, or Moab or Lake Powell areas. It's all incredible!
