how are conditions???

I am flying into town on Thursday morning and looking forward to some fresh pow...It is hard to figure out exactly how much snow has fallen on the mountain vs. main street during this dumping.

can anybody update me on the current snow situation? is most of the snow at the top of the mountain/peaks? is there powder on the bottom half of the mountain? how much fresh powder is there really on the mountain? thanks in advance!!

The snow level has been around the 4500' elevation. So it has pretty much rained in the Salt Lake valley and snowed like crazy on the mountains. When you land and don't see much snow don't worry, the mountains are getting hit with some nice powder.

So far this week the mountains have received in excess of 3 feet. The forecast is for another 40 to 60 inches by Sunday morning. Yesterday was chest deep at Solitude. The PC side doesn't get as much and the mentioned snow totals were for BCC but it still incredible.
