Rehearsal Dinner

We are looking for a restaurant to host a rehearsal dinner for 40-50 people. Our son and his fiance want to keep it low key and relaxed. The bride live in south Austin and the rest of the bridal party will be from out of state. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Rudy's BBQ-Round Rock would be very low key and enjoyable for your out of state visitors...maybe less formal than your looking for but it's a possibility.

Questions: budget, private dining room, how "relaxed," Round Rock or Austin?

Z Tejas comes to mind without knowing more details. They have a private dining room and are one of the most affordable places for a group that size. Same for Chez Zee, although Chez Zee is slightly more upscale.

Are you looking for something in Round Rock specifically, or the entire Austin/Round Rock area? If in Round Rock specifically, try the recently opened Salt Lick BBQ. It's the same as the Salt Lick in Driftwood and should be able to serve a large party. Here's the website -- http://www.saltlickbbq.com/
