Any tar on the beach

Planning a trip in the next 2 or 3 wks., but we don't want to fight the tar or seeweed

just got home (june 21) there was seaweed, but they were plowing a few days back and it was fine. NO OIL - the water is cleaner and much better than Galveston. We drove down to ocean marker range 60 thru 90 and had some private areas. It was a good trip

We just got back (June 16-20). It was a great trip and the water was nice. There was a lot of seaweed. I did find one *GASP!!!* small tar ball. I think this was an isolated occurrence though....
