Tubing question--which river?

My wife and I (mid 50's) will be staying in San Marcos for a few days later this week and wanted to go tubing while we're there. First time tubing. Trying to decide which river we should do. Not into wild drinking or parties. Want a nice, peaceful time but prefer some river action--don't want to just float along aimlessly all day. Comal or Guadalupe (or other suggestions? Doesn't have to be right in San Marcos--willing to drive a little ways if needed. Thanks

Both the Guadalupe and the Comal are fun rivers to tube. The San Marcos River can be fun as well.

Since you are in SM, check out the river near the City Park. You'll see the tubers if conditions are good.
