Visitng Nac

My son is going to college down at SFASU. I am considering going in February (mid). I realize it might not be as nice as other times of the year. I know historically, there is lots to see. And a zipline. Can some of you tell me when the best times to visit would be? What months? Thanks.

I like visiting in March and April when the azaleas and dogwoods are blooming. To me that is the prettiest time of year to be there. Check out the Azalea Trail info.

On campus there is a great arboretum to enjoy.

I have never ziplined in the area. But I have seen signs advertising zipline opportunities. Have fun!

Stone Fort Museum; Sterne Hoya Home; Nacogdoches Visitor's Center; history in those 3 attractions. Lots of antique stores downtown, Heart of Texas is a favorite. Lake Nac for a picnic.

Def March or April.. The Azalea Trail is wonderful, and there are several trails both on campus and right off campus to explore!
