Green garden hotel or green garden resort & spa vs. febri's

Hi, we are travelling to bali in december with 5 teenage boys and a grandmother. we are tossing up between the Green Garden Hotel, Febri's and Green Garden Resort & Spa. Is Febri's too far out? What's the breakfast like at all 3. Which has best pool for boys? Any feedback appreciated, never been to Bali before. Thanks.

As you probably know if you've been looking at the website, the three hotels are owned by the same family, and they're ok for the price, actually better than ok.

Firstly the price of the Green Garden & Spa is the dearest and for a bit extra i prefer the Bali Rani because of the location and the buffet breakfast.

Green Garden & Spa ---haven't stayed there but visited for spa treatments location is a bit furthur away from the mainstream.

Green Grden Hotel, stayed twice in the last 3 yrs , only because of the price, and went for just 4 days each time, because of our long weekends that we get here in Oz.

Oldest hotel of the three, rooms are basic, but clean standards , pool area , ok, but not much privacy when you want to sit on the balcony, and if you have a room , floor level, definately no privacy. Can also get a bit noisy from the streets, breakfast very basic.

Febris Hotel----- newest hotel of the three, stayed there just after Easter, i think you'd find this the better of the two, pool area is ok, breakfast is again very basic, rooms are nice.

These two hotels are almost opposite each other , not too far to walk to the mainstream, but transport is cheap, if you're tired and can't be bothered to walk back. Both are close to Waterbom Park, which the boys , i'm sure will enjoy, and they do have family rates to get i think.

Centro mall is just across from Waterbom Park, which is good for shopping if you can't be bothered to haggle at the markets, & Mataharis is just further down the road, then Legian St is just a bit furthur on.

So to sum up, the two hotels for the price are good for location, pleanty of cafes/rstaurants nearby, shopping, and transport to sight see.

Whatever you decide , i'm sure you'll enjoy your first visit.
