Traveling through Lubbock to Taos on a Sat morning in November. I found 82nd Street Cafe for an early (7ish) breakfast. Any other ideas. Could also be on up Hwy 84 a little way. Thanks!

The Pancake House is a Lubbock institution (circa 1961) and on your exact route Hwy 84= Ave. Q through the Hub (510 AVE Q)

instead of the hassle of hitting all the trafic lights driving on 84/AVE Q take I-27 north to Marsh Sharp Freeway US 62/82 (a lot quicker) .84/ AVE Q should be your fthe first exit...go left under the freeway and Pancake House is two blocks in on your right

There's an IHOP (International House of Pancakes) on South Loop 289 (between Quaker and Indiana). As you come into town, get on Loop 289 going west, take the Quaker Ave exit and make the turnaround. Stay on the access road, pass WalMart, and right after that you will see a few restaurants - maybe a Cheddars, definitely an Outback, a Jason's Deli, and the IHOP.
