Do you mean DFW airport? Why must you collect luggage and re check? If you mean going through customs then catching another flight from a different terminal then probably not enough time. Airlines require you to check in 30 minutes before the flight leaves. Don't know if the same rule applies to passengers who are making connecting flights.

I agree with alongcamejones. Even if you didn't have to worry about luggage, by the time you got anywhere, you would have to get back to the airport.

Just getting through security could be 30 minutes, depending on when you are traveling.

American Airlines has an Admiral's Club and they offer day passes to their lounge for about $75. It's a little nicer than sitting in the terminal. Other airlines have lounges too, but I don't know if they have day passes. You might try that. Check out your airline's website to see if they offer a daypass.

Have a safe flight!

You will be "on the ground" for about 1 hour if you are lucky and your flight is on time. You will be lucky to just get to your next gate so there is little need to go to an airline club IMO. You might do a little window shopping at the stores but that would be about it.

DFW handles more than 5 million passengers a month so it is very very large, crowded and slow to navigate.

You must have an usual connection for the airline to book you so close.

You might want to examine your ticket to find which gate you are sceduled to arrive and which gate you will depart from.

If you're arriving from England and making a connection at DFW, your bags should be checked through to your final destination. After clearing immigration and customs, your bag will be sent on to the next flight without you having to go through check in. Your boarding pass for the connection should be issued at your UK departure point. The schedule is a little tight, but you should make it OK if your flight is ontime.
