Texas High School Football playoffs

My son is the first-string offensive tackle for Woodrow Wilson and they won the first playoff game this past weekend. Here's the link to the Lakewood site with info on the game. On page 4 there's a great photo of my husband and on page 19 there's a picture of the offensive coach talking to the line and my son is the one not wearing a helmet whose face you can clearly see.

We have had great fun with this team. They have been 10-0 the past two seasons and haven't lost a regular season game since early in the season in 2004.

Thanks for sharing the excitement of your season! Very handsome young and older men. That is a well done website for your school. Football playoffs in Texas can generate excitement in folks even like myself who have no connection whatsoever to the schools. We were in Corsicana on Saturday, saw buses driving over to the stadium and had to get on-line to figure out what smaller schools (at least one close to Tyler) were playing that night- turned out to be Mexia vs. Crockett. Side note about the team you are playing this week, Copperas Cove. When I was going to Killeen High back in the dark ages, CC was just a little bitty place, 2, maybe 3-A. Still surprises me to see how far they have come!

Good Luck to Woodrow WIlson!
