Dallas Airport catching AA flights in timely fashion

Howdy!

AA changed our significant transfer time to 1:25 minutes. They assured us it's enough time. But given we have runway closures in SFO - it said it was not happening on our day of departure, budget cuts and whatever delays may happen; I want to be prepared and know the quickest way between points in case we are just going to make our flight. I did some research already.

8:05 pm Dallas AA

9:25 pm depart AA international Santiago, Chile

It seems we'll arrive Term A or C?

Then depart from Term D?

If we are short for time AND if we land closer to A39 or C2 would we be best to just walk over what appears to be a bridge to get to Term D - if the flight leaves from around D40?

We would be able to walk fast as opposed to Amazing Race sprinting, with small carry on bag each. Thanks :)

Skylink trains arrive every 2 minutes and the ride time is rarely more than 5 minutes. Take the Skylink!

Even if you run you will save no more than a minute, if at all.

It is also possible that your flight from SFO to DFW will arrive at Terminal D.

Key points: 1) At SFO, get your boarding passes for the Santiago leg; 2) Be sure that your luggage is checked thru to Santiago; 3) Check the board at DFW to be sure your flight leaves out of Terminal D; 4) Stay inside security (& use the Skylink if you need to change terminals).
