Pigeon Forge visit

Going to Pigeon Forge this weekend for 4 days and need to know what are the best shows for two ladies to see. And also the shopping, including antiques. We are going to see the Titanic. And if you have good restaurant choices, please list. Thanks!

Head a little north to Sevierville, Several antique shops there, including one in an old barn thats pretty cool. Its just a shame that many items are not antiques but reproductions. Make sure you ask before buying.

There are a lot of great shows in Pigeon Forge! We have enjoyed 'The Wonders of Magic', Lumberjack Feud, Dixie Stampede, Murder Mystery Dinner Show, etc. For restaurants, Old Mill Pottery House and we like Log Cabin Pancake House for breakfast and Mountain Lodge Restaurant for breakfast and lunch, both in Gatlinburg! For shopping, can't forget the Tangler Outlets in Sevierville. Have fun!

Smoky mtn Opry's Christmas show is without a doubt the best Christmas show. You can purchase discount tickets on their website for a 2 show combination. We liked the Hatfield and McCoy's but wish it wasn't a dinner show. The food was o.k. but there are so many other great restaurants to choose from. The show was really good though. We also love the comedy barn and the Country tonite. I would see them all again.

My sister-in-law just told me tonight that they attended the Christmas show at the Opry on Saturday. She paid a little over $100 for two, but said it was worth every cent. That must be one GOOD show!

We attended 4 Christmas shows this past week....Smoky Mountain Opry, Htfield & mcCoys Christmas Disaster, America's Hit Parade, Country Tonight. The last two were half regular show and half Christmas, which we liked. Country Tonight was our favorite.

Smoky Mountain Opry has a combo ticket with some other shows, so you get 2 shows for around $65 plus tax,
