Nashville safety

Just wondering about unsafe areas in Nashville. My husband and I are going this weekend for some sightseeing. We are planning to stay around the downtown area to see the sights. Should we be concerned about any unsafe areas surrounding?

It's very unlikely you will accidentally wander into any "unsafe" portions of Nashville while sightseeing downtown. As in any city, follow basic rules of travel and be aware of your surroundings, and you'll be fine. Stay near where the people are and you should be fine. This would generally cover the area from 1st Avenue (East) to 6th Avenue (West) and from Demonbreun (South) to Charlotte (North).
