Just Booked!!!

Decameron Los Cocos - December 28 for 1 week ... First time to Guayabitos and have a few questions. Do you need a power converter? Realize there are no mini fridges but is ice easily accessible? Interested in the Canopy Tour - can you book at the resort /or in/Guayabitos or is it a tour best arranged out of PV? Also, to rent bicycles - at the resort or in the village? Saw the post on the "natural gym" and am wondering how far one can walk the beach - we were in Punta Cana last January and would walk up to 1 1/2 hrs. plus one direction (usually walk 5 - 6 kms/hour)?

Have read most posts and reviews on Los Coco/Guayabitos and have done a bit of research and am really looking forward to getting away from the mega resort idea (doing that again in March /08) . Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ~Barbara~

1. Re: Just Booked!!!

No power converter required.

Walking on beach is great

Bicycles are free at resort.

Tours, available from Nolitours rep.

Never do tours except our own so idea of price etc.

If you go 5-6kms an hour you should get a speeding ticket!
