Lawied13 - Info please

I know this is the Memphis forum, but my post on the Tunica forum may not get answered in time to do me any good. I'm trying to find out if there are any fireworks displays planned for the Fourth of July weekend. If so, where and when? We were there for the fourth a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular fireworks displaly put on in the area by Hollywood and (then) Harrah's. We are hoping for some of the same when we are there 7/1-7/5. With the ownership switcheroo of Harrah's and Horseshoe, I didn't know if they would do it, again.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

BTW - there is such a difference in the Tunica forum and the Las Vegas forum as to the amount of activity on it, I couldn't believe it.

I do sometimes check the Tunica site. I recently traveled to Europe and used the forums for the cities I visited over there and it doesn't even compare the amount of users on those forums compared to many U.S. spots. Maybe more Europeans have discovered this site than Americans. Not sure.

Anyway, I just called the Tunica CVB and they said they have not been alerted by any of the casinos that there will be a show. That doesn't mean there won't be one, though. I'll keep looking and post if I come across something. I'll be down there tonight so I can ask. You could check with individual casinos as well.

Thanks so much for your reply. I've tried searching the casino websites for activities/entertainment during those dates and haven't found anything. I did call Sam's Town and was told they did not have a display scheduled. What a shame! Thanks, again.
