We used to travel to Jersey/St. Helier regularly from 1996 and onwards. We have not been there for 5 years. The place we used to stay in was called Gloster House, 49 Rouge Boullion, St. Helier. Run by Piero and Audrey Scarpa. They have owned the place since 1974.
It was/is a big house from the early 1800. Once the home of Lady Otway. During the occupation it was used as a casino for the german officers. It was also used as accomodation for the crew during flming of the first Bergerac series. It had a swimming pool and a garden + an annex. There was also a bungalow on the back where Piero and Audrey lived.
Now we can´t find any mention of the place - not on the net and not in any of the Jersey hotel info.
Is there anybody out there who might know what happened to it and if it´s still a hotel/guest house under another name/management ?
