We only have 2 days in Chattanooga and would like to know if it is too much to squeeze in rock city and ruby Falls in the same day?

It'd definitely doable in one day--but we found Ruby falls to be a waste of time and money.

I am of the same mind. Ruby Falls was just not that big a deal. Rock City was worth the time.

It is a shame that visitors feel the way they do about Ruby Falls. Some people love it!

That being said, it does, in no way, compare to Rock City. Totally different, but put your efforts into another activity here in Chattanooga. How about one of the Tennessee River offerings?

Go to the Lost Sea in Sweetwater just a little more than an hours drive north if you want to see a cave.
