Restaurant wait times?

Hi. We're coming to Pawley's Island the end of the week and wondering what the wait times will be like at restaurants this time of year as we have a toddler who is very impatient and may not be able to do any long waits without some diversion. Thanks.

Did you have any particular restaurants in mind? The crowds are quickly fading away, but on weekends it depends a lot on which restaurants and what time you go. Most of PI's upscale restaurants - Frank's, Nosh, Bistro 217, etc - take reservations and are highly recommended on weekends. You may find some of these are not particularly toddler-friendly. Two very good casual restaurants are Quigleys and Hanser House, and any wait at all is rare, particularly if you're there a little early.

The Murrells Inlet restaurants tend to be busy on weekends, and you could still encounter waits in the the 20-30 minute range. Your best bet for these would be to get there around 6pm or so. By 7:00 pm, most of these will be busy.
