Looking for fresh seafood that isn't fried!

I like my seafood broiled or sauted--nothing fancy, just clean and delicious. Can't seem to find it the massive Calabash-style fried junk. Any recs? TIA!

I 2nd Lee's. Most menu items are offered fried, broiled or grilled. The broiled or grilled crab cakes are to die for. Here's the Lee's menu:

Good recs above. I'll also add Sara J's and Conch Cafe in Garden City. Both offer a number of grilled and broiled items.

Chesapeake House and Vintage Twelve both have nice grilled or broiled fish options.

I like The Sea Captians House on Ocean Blvd at 30th, Druken Jacks in Murrells Inlet and I also like Landry's if you are at Broadwat at the Beach.

Landry's is a national chain that serves the same seafood, caught in the Gulf, at all locations. With so many great locally owned options, serving locally caught seafood, I would never recommend a national chain. We have a Landry's here in Huntsville and I don't see how they stay in business.

How about a local chain - good grilled fish sandwiches at River City Cafe. They come in handy when you are having a grilled fish attack!

Duffy Street Seafood Shack (3 locations) is our favorite for seafood. I don't eat fried seafood either, and Duffy's has a wonderful platter called the "Pirates Plate" that my wife and I share most of the time. Fresh fish broiled in butter and wine, steamed shrimp, broiled scallops, steamed crab legs, coleslaw and hushpuppies. Yum!

We also enjoy their Duffy's Steam Pot which comes with steamed oysters, steamed clams, steamed shrimp, steamed crab legs, fried corn on the cob, corn bread, smoked sausage, boiled potatoes, and coleslaw.

Our favorite location is the new one on restaurant row.
