Breakfast recomm.

Looking for a tasty breakfast place in Myrtle Beach that has a more multi-culture atmosphere. I have went into a couple and felt very uncomfortable by being the only patrons of our racea nd was ignored by waitresses, so we left.

So any positive breakfast places, known please advise.

Thanks.

I usually visit Mammy's at least twice each trip to Myrtle. It is a small place, but I can have my plate full of eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, blueberry covered pancakes, and in my opinion the best biscuits and gravy, before I get to sit down in the booth. They literally hand me a plate when I walk in the door. For less than 6 bucks a person, I'll keep going back. I hope you get the same service, if you decide to give it a try. I've got six weeks to go before my next trip down, and I plan on visiting Tarbaby's this go round. I have heard a lot of good things on them as well. There is a good review section on Tripadvisor if you ever have questions on what to expect of a restaurant, and of course the locals will fill you in on the rest!

Someone mentioned Harry's Pancake House at 24th and Kings Hwy. I agree and would highly recommend it for either breakfast or lunch. Oh and yes there really is a Harry, he's the owner.

I've seen Tar Baby's mentioned a lot lately in this forum. Even though we don't stay in North Myrtle I think we're going to have to make a trip up there to give it a try!
