Top 10 golf courses?

I have been to Myrtle several times, and have played many beautiful courses. I would like to hear what everyone thinks the top ten courses (if money were no object) to play are. For the record I have played: Kings North, Caledonia, Wizard, Barefoot (Fazio), World Tour and Dunes. Thanks for the help.

True Blue, the rest of the Barefoot courses, Grand Dunes, Oyster Bay, Tidewater definitely, and I love the Witch but few others would rank it with the others mentioned by you and me. There are also some newer ones like Leopard's Chase I think it is as well as many more that would rank up there depending on personal likes and dislikes and distance you want to travel.

The hotel concierge suggested to me the Grande Dunes member course. Any recommendations on that course?

I don't golf but Leopards Chase was named one of the 10 best new courses (is that in the country or the world?) last year. There are three others in one location but LC is the premier course of the 4.

Looks like you've played some of the best!

Barefoot (Fazio especially) is my favourite (haven't played Norman yet) and I actually birdied The Gambler at MBN King's North. My second favourite would be Oyster Bay.

The attention to detail at World Tour was second to none.

Dunes Club was great but it was 35F at the time!

I love Willbrook (natural berms from old rice plantation still intact, lots of gators) and River Club in the south end.

Looking forward to Tiger's Eye and Leopard's Chase is May.

Here's a good site that takes into account the opinions of golfers.

I've played them all except the members course at Grande Dunes. Most of them I've played several times. I'll stay at Grande Dunes soon to get that members course in.

1. Caledonia

2. Dunes Club (private)

3. Tidewater

4. TPC

5. Barefoot Fazio

6. Barefoot Dye

7. Glen Dornach

8. Oyster Bay

9. Rivers Edge

10. Tigers Eye

I could really put 15 courses in 8,9 and 10th places depending on the shape of them at the time. That MBGA top 20 is accurate I'd say.

Thanks for all the input!!

Every year on the last day of our golf trip, we play for "The Bogey Bowl". I think this year Kings North would be fun to play. Alot of risk-reward holes. If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know.

Thanks!
