Shem Creek is walking distance to some fun night spots. Charleston Harbor has a beautiful view as does Shem Creek. Which Marriott? There's one on the IOP connector which is convenient to Isle of Palms. The other is closer to the Ravenel Bridge. Both are fine.

If you want great views, go with Charleston Harbor. Shem Creek has a nice view of the creek and shrimp boats, but will be more noisey.

Mount Pleasant has a new bus route which connects most of the Mount Pleasant Hotels will our major visitor's attractions, the CARTA #401 East Cooper Connector. Full information is online at busec.org/routes/…

This route also has connections to the CARTA #40 which goes to Downtown Charleston and the CARTA #402 Island Flex which runs to the beach.
