East Beach or West Beach?

We are planning our first trip to Kiawah in November and are trying to decide between a villa at Seascape (West Beach) or Windswept Lakes (East Beach). Would you recommend one area over the other for a November stay. We mainly plan on walking the beach and biking. We don't golf or play tennis.

East and West are equally nice. Kiawah's beach is all one LONG beach, so East and West are only vaguely descriptive of particular areas within the resort villas. The actual east and west ends of the beach extend far beyond the resort.

If being in easy walking distance of The Sanctuary Hotel is important to you, choose "East Beach". Also, you might enjoy Windswept's proximity to Night Heron Pond, which is particularly lovely in autumn.

I agree, for the most easy access to "places", East Beach is the place to be.
