Hilton Head "Must do's"

My family and I are heading to HH for the first time this Friday. We have 4 boys, a 9 year old and 7.5 year old triplets. They are really into nature and are very active and we are looking for any "must do" activities that would appeal to boys of their ages.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks

Craig

I agree w/ everything esp. the Greg Russell show @ the oak tree.

let the kids get up on stage w/ him, it is a hoot. Plus there is a neat natural playground for the kids to enjoy before the show, plus the boats in the marina are awesome. While you are in sea pines go ahead to the salty dog tee shirt shop in the south beach marina it

Is the ultimate gift to bring home. If you can ,bring your bikes w/out

even knowing where you are staying there are bike trails everywhere .(you can also rent them if nec.)

@ that age our boys loved building drizzle castles on the beach

plus boogie boarding the waves. (now they skim board)

but our favorite thing @ that age was fishing off the concrete pier on the right , right as you come on the island . there are lots of locals who will help you out if you ask. all you need is some steel leaders for the end of line and some squid from Wal-Mart. there are lots of black tip sharks in the channel plus more dolphins than you will see on the tours. plus tons of crabs along the bank you can catch w/ a simple string & a chicken neck.

enjoy South Carolina

My son loves renting a boat for a couple of hours through H20 sports at Harbor Town and going water skiing and wakeboarding. We usually book first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening, because the water is the calmest at that time. We usually see a number of dolphins pretty close up during our rides.

Must go kayaking. Stop by WalMart or Shelter Cove Mall and pick up $10 off coupons.
