Our Folly Trip

Our Folly Beach trip

We arrived Sunday with great weather which remained all week!!

Did our grocery shopping started at Publix but the fresh produce hadn’t been stocked so we drove back to Piggly Wiggly which we should had started with.. Piggly Wiggly is the closest to Folly so if we needed anything we just shopped there.

Sunday dinner was at Rita’s meal was okay best part of dinner was the hickory smoked wings.

Monday night dinner at Blu also great place to people watch :-)

Tuesday dinner we brought Shrimp from Crosby

Wednesday for breakfast The Lost Dog it lived up to what everyone had said!!

Bill Noel who wrote The Folly Beach Mystery was at the Lost Dog with his new book

The guys went to Patriots Point which they enjoyed and the gals we walked out to Morris Lighthouse

Wednesday we grabbed a cab went into Charleston had dinner at Grill 225 our dinner was amazing then finished with a cocktail at the rooftop Pavilion Bar

Thursday dinner at The Grill and Island Bar on Folly, Thursday night they have a bluegrass band which was very entertaining.

Friday we ran back to Charleston had a quick lunch at Olde Towne Grill, then onto The Citadel parade so glad we did what a tradition!

If you’re staying on Folly all you need is T-shirts, shorts and flip flops!

Ready to come back!!

1. Re: Our Folly Trip

we were there around the same time and rented a great house on E. Ashley right on the beach through vrbo. It was great to have that last blast of summer before returning to Fall in N.J. We ate every meal in downtown Charleston and loved the city. Very easy to get there. Didn't eat anywhere in Folly but really wanted a Tokyo crepe. Only problem was that we were always so full on the way home from dinner it was impossible. The day we left, Folly Beach was celebrating is 40th anniversary. I was very surprised how young the town is. Great place and we would stay there again.
