I've rented them at Dutch Wonderland, but not at Sesame. The price is much steeper at Sesame, but they include more such as beach towels, character meet & greet, and maybe a couple of other things. They are each enclosed in your own canopy, so you can get out of the sun. It was real nice to have at DW - but I don't think it's worth what Sesame charges.

We rented one last year, and are renting one again on our upcoming trip.

Yes, the price is a bit steep at $199, but it's quite worth it, especially with more than one child in your group.

The cabana, at its base level, is a private place to sit in the shade. Moreover, it's a perfect place to leave all the stuff you need to have at the park, but don't necessarily want to carry all day. At 10'x10', it holds a lot more than the lockers, and there's a safe included for valuables. It also includes a refrigerator that comes stocked with bottled water, saving the time and money of buying water around the park. (And for those of us with kids who like to drink milk, it's a place to keep milk cold.)

All of that, plus the 6 towels that come with the cabana are worth the price alone, but then it also comes with VIP access to meet all of the characters before the parade. That includes characters who rarely make appearances elsewhere in the park -- and without the kids having to deal with waiting on a line.

Everyone will have a different judgement on whether or not $199 is worth it for all that comes with the cabana, but they seem to be selling out on most days, which would indicate that the price isn't too high for the marketplace...

Thank you, we did rent one the first week of August and it was as you said the best money we spent as my daughter loved the VIP meet and greet before the parade and we got some great pictures. That plus a place to get away from the masses on a hot day.
