Family style restaurants in Lancaster?

Hi, I'd like to hear about your experiences with authentic amish meals in Lancaster. We love going to Lancaster and we've tried Good-n-Plenty and Millers', which we liked, and now, looking to try another (or should we?)! We will be bring a group of friends with kids with us this time too. Also, suggestions for things to do for a Saturday (we'll be there in mid-April). Thanks much!

Another restaurant that is similar to Good N Plenty is Plain and Fancy, located in Bird-in-Hand. It is family-style restaurant where you pass the food around the table and take as little or as much of each platter as you please. The menu includes chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes, baked sausage, fried chicken, buttered bow-tie noodles, homemade bread, assorted vegetables, and hot and cold beverages to drink. Dessert (if you still have room) is usually shoofly pie and ice cream. Why don't you give Plain and Fancy a try the next time you visit the Lancaster area.
