Byron Bay Caravan Parks

Hi,

Will be travelling up NSW coast with camper trailer soon. Been doing some googling about caravan parks, but getting mixed reviews for all. Looking for a nice caravan park, very close to nice beach (doesn't need to be surf beach), walking distance to shops, and preferably some family friendly facilities like playground, maybe pool. Any suggestions really appreciated.

Thanks!

Clarkes Beach is a nice caravan park with a great beach at the front door.

It is located via a a short walk up the beach from the main street of Byron.

First Sun is also very popular, however it is located right in the centre of town, very close to everything, also overlooking the beach.

I agree Clarkes beach is a great choice - right on the beach and close to town.

Broken Head is a firm favourite of many families ( big grassy play area right on the beach) but it is about 15kms south of Byron itself. Maybe thats why its so popular,lol....

There are neighbouring towns that have some great places too - often easier to get into, cheaper and quieter. Ferry Reserve at Brunswick Heads and Big 4 at Hastings Point are really family friendly with excellent facilities...
