Glatco Lodge

We are attending a wedding at Glatco Lodge in June with some elderly relatives. The wedding plans sound a bit rustic and casual. Any halpful information about the place?

Glatco Lodge is as casual as it gets. I was a best man at a wedding there and it was real nice. The lodge is a wood structure building right beside a man-made lake. Its rented out for reunions, barbeques, fund raisers and weddings.

Don't expect fine silverware, glasses, plates and so forth.

Expect casual atire, simple decorations and a more laid back wedding.

Expect a wooden area, with fresh air, a nice quite surronding area.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. A relative is in assisted living and uses a walker. Is the walk to the lake, for the service itself, going to be difficult for her? I'm trying to decide if we need to find a wheelchair. Would be disappointing for her to travel and then find she can't actually attend the wedding.

You can drive up to the lodge and help the person in the lodge that way. But its all nature around the lodge so if the wedding is outside on the lawn it may be difficult getting around with a walker but a wheel chair should work.

That's what I needed to know -- thanks.
