Dessert -only restaurant?

A friend of mine visited Portland and raved about a dessert-only place near their B & B on the east side of the river. She said it was always packed and only open from 5 pm to 11 pm, but she can't remember the name. Can anyone help?

Could be Pix Patisserie on E Burnside or Papa Haydn down near Sellwood. Do either of those sound right?

It wasn't Papa Haydn.

I think it had mainly cakes and pies, and coffee and wine.

Pix opens at 2 pm.

Wrong location- Salt and Straw. Great ice cream in the Alphabet District.

Knowing the name of the B&B (or at least the street intersection) might help us narrow things down... ;)

Sorry, got the city wrong. It was Vancouver.

Probably the Rimsky-Korsa-Coffehouse, near SE 12th & Stark, if I remember correctly. Haven't been there in years, so can't recommend it one way or the other.
