Beaverton to Vancouver, WA Traffic Question

Should I have any problems going from Beaverton to the SR 500 area of Vancouver on a Wednesday leaving Beaverton at 9:00 a.m. and arriving in Vancouver before 10:00 a.m.?

Google maps says the trip should take me 36 minutes in current 11:30 a.m. traffic (normal travel time is listed as 34 minutes) taking 217 to 26 to I-5.

I'm never near a computer or TV during morning rush so I'm not sure what the northbound drive is like in the morning.

That should be plenty of time, IME.

There is no "SR 500 area" SR 500 goes from I-5 to Battle Ground. What is your actual destination? Chuck.

If I can remember to, I'll check Google maps tomorrow morning around 9:00am, but I'd be very surprised if Mtngrl's not right.

And where do you start in Beaverton? Here in Tigard it can take us longer to get to I-5, than to get to downtown once on I-5

But 217/US26 to I-5/SR500. You should have enough time

From Beaverton you get on Hwy 26 East, stay on it to I-405 North, and on that to I-5 North. Nobody need to check Google. Your hour is plenty of time, unless we get sub freezing temps tonignt and the prediction is a low of 39. Chuck.

Thanks for all the helpful replies.

I know what to expect traffic-wise on the home to 217 to 26 portion of the drive at that time of day. It's the 26 to Vancouver portion I'm not familiar with in regards to traffic. When I do that drive, it ends at Providence St. Vincent.

I haven't been on I-5 in Washington since 2005 and that was to go watch Mt. St. Helens spewing ash.

The Google directions to my destination (confirmed that they are correct) look pretty straight forward so I'm figuring I won't have to factor in missed turn time.

"Nobody need to check Google."

Ah, but it's no problem, and it's easier than a paper map.

Yeah, msdj, if there is a problem, it would be on the ramp from 217 to 26 and on into Portland. But once you get on I-5, it should be a piece of cake.
