Hotels in Lincoln City?

Going to an upcoming concert at Chinook Winds. Any recommendations on where to stay? Quality is more important than price or location, but it would be nice to be nearby.

My personal favorite is the Inn at Spanish Head. I haven't stayed there for a number of years (DH and I have a house on the coast now) but I always really enjoyed it. The restaurant was nice and the rooms are right on the beach. In the summer, the beach level units are nice because you can walk right off your patio into the sand and in the winter, I love the higher level rooms so that I can watch the waves come soooo close to the hotel...

Inn at Spanish is very nice. The view is wonderful! And the restaurant is very good. We always try to do an early dinner or a Sunday brunch when we're in Lincoln City.

Another possible hotel is the Odysius. I have not personally stayed there, like Sparklefufu we're home owners in the area. However, I know it has received great reviews from friends who have stayed there. It also has panoramic views of the ocean.

We've heard raves about the Blackfish Cafe in Lincoln City from friends who just returned from the area. :)

Blackfish is good, but I'd pass on Kyllos. The last time we ate there the quality wasn't what it had been in the past. Maybe they were having an off day, but a few of our friends have said the same thing.

A bit of a drive south of Lincoln City is Depoe Bay and I'd highly suggest lunch or dinner at Tidal Raves. Great views from all the tables and excellent food. I have never had a bad meal there.

There you go again, girl(s), answering questions that haven't been asked.

Racine, I think your best bet is to check out the reviews on this site. And regardless of what's been written by the previous poster(s), I wouldn't pick Spanish Head. I stayed there a number of years ago, and remember that the interiors and furnishings appeared worn and tired. The view is great, but I think they just built more hotel than the area would support. Today, half the rooms of the original hotel are condos.

TahitiGirl, does Gracie still play the bottles at the Sea Hagi in Depoe Bay? Such a cool little place and gorgeous views of the coast in this area! :)

It's been a while since I've been there, but I think she's still there. But I'm here in Lincoln City this weekend...may just have to make a drive down to Depoe Bay. It's storming something awful...I'm in HEAVEN!

Looks rainy for most of the weekend. Forecast shows a break on Tues., tho. I also enjoy winter storm watching. Stay dry and warm and let us know about Gracie if you do go to Depoe Bay! :)

I live in Depoe Bay and Gracie still plays the bottles. I think a great place to stay is at the Sea Gypsy Motel. It is the lowest point in lincoln city and their 1st floor rooms have slinding glass doors that go right out to the beach! It is also close to the casino, there is a shuttle that goes by I believe. Have a great time at your concert!
