Preparing for road trip?

I am going to be out of town for part of december and january. Do you have your heating system serviced? Who did you use? How much did it cost? What was your experience like. Never really had my heater checked but my neighbor mentioned it to me. Said his pipes froze when his heat went out while he was on vacation last year.

Not sure about the heater but I leave sinks dripping and cabinets open to avoid the pipes getting too cold. Another thing to make sure you do is to cover your outside faucets after you've unhooked your hoses.

Any good heat and air company should be able to do it.

Hill and Company. TS Heat and Air. Drabek and Hill.

I've used the first two and was happy with both. You can count on it costing around $70 - $90 if they don't have to do anything special.
