Local attractions bus

The website for the "Makers" visitor center mentions a "local attractions bus" - sounds like a version of a hop on/hop off bus. Does anyone have any more information - like cost/stops/website, etc? We'll be in Burnie for one day, on a Saturday in April (day before Easter), which makes car rental and bus service more difficult.

What about cycling? We'll have our own bikes.

I think there's a bus operating when a cruise ship is in port, but not otherwise. But I'd love to hear otherwise if someone knows. www.discoverburnie.net/cruise-ship-tours.html

Anyway, bikes would be good, except that it would be a VERY hard slog to get to the top of the big hill to see Lactos cheese and Hellyer Road whisky distillery (almost side-by-side on Surrey Road). But you could get to them on the local bus service:
