Booking a B&B for one night

I'm trying to book a room for one night for 2 people on Saturday 20th August - this is proving really difficult - does anyone have any suggestions I could try please?

stay outside seahouses - much better value elsewhere and you'll probably be paying for the car park anyway. We stayed in the last available room in seahouses one Saturday and wished we'd stayed outside the village.

Thanks for your advice, which area do you think I should look at, as near to Seahouses as possible but not sure of the surrounding area to have the knowledge. Thanks for your help.

It's always going to be tricky to find a single-night stay in the village in summer, and more especially at weekends. What you will find is that occupancy is not as high if you look inland a little, in the rural area away from the coast. Look at Belford, Ford & Etal, or even as far as Alnwick or Wooler. If you have a car, it's easy enough to get to the coast from any of those places.

Hi,

Just returned from a wonderful stay at a guest house in Seahouses called Regal House.

It is situated a 15 minute walk from the centre of the village, down a delightful country lane past a church and riding stables. It is a two minute drive in the car from the village, but the walk is worth it.

The people who run this are absolutely lovely and can't do enough for you, the breakfast is fantastic and the rooms are very nice.

It looks like they have vacancies for your date, just check online.

Regards
