Shillong and Cherrapunjee in mid October

We will be reaching Shillong on 15th of Oct via Guwahati ( 1 nth stay). We have booked ourselves at Orchid Lake Resort for 3 nts. From there we will be travelling to Cherrapunjee , have booked Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort for 3 nts also. Can somebody please advise as to how to go about the tour including the transfers and sight seeing ? How will the weather be at Shillong and Cherrapunjee and whether heavy woolens will be required or not ?

3 nights in Cherrapunjee ??? think twice, just 1 night is enough for cherra. I can suggest you a person Sri Pradip Modok / 9863087418, he has a Maruti 800 taxi, he is the dedicated driver/guide of Shillong. You can rely on him, but dont entrust him to book the hotels.

Weather in Meghalaya will be pleasant in October. Take light woolens.
