Dear sir,

As i am planning to visit Shillong for first time i want to know if rainy season starts by late March, how is tempreture and overall climte? The best hotels along with tarrif applicable.

Meghalaya gets the South West monsoon like Mumbai, so how will there be rain in March? In fact, I'd be surprised if any part of India gets rain in March.

Shillong has cold winters, but it is very nice in end-March/April. Please see this link:

I was in Shillong in March some years ago, I stayed about 15 days, there was not a drop of rain anywhere.
