Group picnic in state park?

I am doing some research and see that there are a number of different parks in the Cleveland area. However, I'm looking for a nice one where we could hold a company picnic, for between 75 - 100 people. Looking for a place to just cook out, have some outdoor activities, etc.

There are a lot of options in the area around Cleveland. The Cleveland Metroparks have several options. A quick search of their website provided the following link to reservable picnic sites:

The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is near by option:

State Parks are a little further out from Cleveland. Here's a link to the parks website:

Punderson is probably the closest, then perhaps Mohican.

That's a start....

Also check out the Metropark (county park) systems for counties surrounding Cleveland's Cuyahoga County. Cleveland purchased massive amounts of parkland in the 20th century, often in surrounding counties, before its park system was taken over by Cuyahoga County as Cleveland proper declined in population and wealth. Unlike the other Greater Cleveland Metropark systems, Cleveland Metropark "reservations" often are in surrounding counties.

Here are picnic options for the Lake Metroparks System, owned by Lake County east of Cleveland:

Other county metropark systems would include Geauga, Medina, and Lorain.

These county park systems generally are freely available to all residents of Greater Cleveland.

For different group outing options, definitely consider the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and the Lake Metroparks Farmpark. Also, Holden Arboretum, one of the largest and best in the U.S., may offer options.

For Lake Erie beaches, the Huntington Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks, Mentor Headlands Beach State Park, or Fairport Harbor Lakefront Beach Park of the Lake Metroparks may also offer possibilities worth exploring.

If you want both an inland lake beach and golf course, Punderson State Park in Geauga County also is worth exploring.

If you want to supplement your picnic with a different activity, consider offering Segway tours, certainly available in the North Chagrin Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks and likely other parks. This obviously is a memorable activity for Segway novices.
