Cape trib Sanctuary

Has anyone stayed here, would you reccommend it? If not I'd be grateful for any other suggestions on accomodation in the area.

We ar eplanning to visit in December, which I have been told will be hot!

Is it safe to swim in the sea then?

Never stayed there but driven past it many times. I reckon you'd need a car if you stay there. I don't think the beach is a close walk as there is a dense rain forest between it and the beach - check with the owners on this and if they say it's a 5-minute walk, think 15 minutes. I have not seen a stinger net on any of the beaches north of Palm Cove so I don't reckon you can swim there in December without the risk of stingers. There are plenty of creeks around it so their may be some safe, fresh water holes nearby.

And yes, December is hot and steamy.
