Costa Maya Port Beach Club Recommendations

We will be in Port at Costa Maya from 7AM - 4PM. I know that there is a pool and beach at the port, but heard the water is a bit rocky. Could someone recommend a beach club that would have amenities like bathroom, bar, lockers, beach loungers, hammocks, a pool would be nice, etc. Looking to rest by a beautiful powdery beach and hang out.

Any recommendations about the pier vs. beach club would be appreciated. Cruise offers beach break to Uvero Beach. Maybe that is our best bet.

Thanks,

The two day-resorts that I'm looking into are Maya Chan or Maya Palms. I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. Maya Palms offers snorkeling/diving trips which is nice. Has anyone been to both and have pros and cons?

Which beach club has a better beach (nicer sand, views, no rocks in water, etc). Do any beaches limit the number of guests per day? All we need is a lounge chair, umbrella, bathroom, food and bar.

Happy New Year.

We had a great day in Costa Maya at the All Inclusive beach break that we booked through Island Marketing costamayacruiseexcursions.com/AllInclusiveBe…

We booked this along with a private catamaran trip that left from the same location. The beach is beautiful and definitely away from the chaos that we encountered when we first got to Mahahual which was wall to wall people and chairs squeezed together. Crazy and not what we wanted at all.

At the All inclusive, our chairs had been reserved with a palapa, great food and drinks included all day long. Highly recommended. The catamaran tour was wonderful, just the four of us and Jimmy our Captain. Great snorkeling and the sailing was wonderful!

Hello Randy: Funny to find you here. I'm going on the same cruise as you are and was checking out the excursion and found the site with Uvero Beach on it. One photo taker didn't like the beach much.

Here is the site:

We have taken the recommendation and booked the all inclusive from Island Marketing. This appears to be the quietest and nicest beach on Costa Maya.

See you at the beach,

I was looking at the company you mentioned in your post. Only question is how did you get there? Did you do the cabs for $5 each way or was transportation included?

Caught a bus, but had to walk a bit as the buses drivers are paid by other clubs not to encourage people to go to this club. Food very good. Worth the walk, find a cab if you can as it would be better. We found a cab easily onbe block from the club to go back to port.

Going in October. How did you get to this beach from cruise ship and was the cost for transportation included? Please give details on your going to and from this beach and using this company.
