Looking to hire a driver in Ajijic

I was wondering if anyone has a name and/or phone number for a driver for hire in Ajijic. A friend and I we are going to be there the first week of January. We were wondering if anyone has hired someone reliable there or it may be even cheaper to get a taxi everytime we want to do something.

Thanks your advice.

You might send a PM to TA regular Bezerk. She might have connections.

Call Samuel Reyes at 376-766 3662. I used him several times to get from Ajijic to Guadalajara as well as the airport. He's bilingual.

I have used Heriberto many times. He speaks good English and is most helpful and a smooth driver.

What kind of fees are involved in hiring a driver and car roughly. We just returned from Bali and an 8 hour excursion with a car and liscensed guide was $43 US. Probably a lot more in Mexico? thank you..
