Are there any all inclusive places in Ajijic?

Not crazy about B&B'S. If not could someone suggest a nice hotel with a good pool near town area with restaurants and stores within walking distance?

I am actually a B&B owner in Ajijic but to be honest with you when I vacation I also look for the all-inclusives!!

There are none that I am aware of here though.

Thanks Stevie! Us and some friends are looking in the area for possible retirement from the U.S. in maybe 5 to 6 years. Since you live there maybe you could give us some pointers? Best area, etc. Are you a native of Mexico? Our friends are going down in a few weeks to scout out the area. Actually they are staying at a B&B when they go down maybe its your place. I will have to ask them and find out the name.

All Inclusive normally means room plus 3 meals a day. Is this what you want? A cynic might suggest that with the Gringo Population Ajijic is nothing but 'All Inclusive"! Smile

I have been looking at this area for a couple years and have not visited yet. I am on the 3-4 year track and also very interested in retirment in area/climate such as the altitude provides there.

It seems difficult to get bankable information on web, I would really like to get there in early winter.

Any gems of insight would be appreciated.

Freezing in Fargo.

I have lived in Ajijic 2 years after 4 years in Mexico. I don't mind if anyone messages me privately as I can talk for hours on Ajijic!! I'm from Ireland and have lived in different places but i love it here.

I know some of you said that you are thinking of moving here over a 3-5 yr period and my advice would be if you can possibly get on the property market sooner,do so, as I would say the price increase will be significantly higher then. I AM NOT A REALTOR,SO I'M NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU ANYTHING, but that would be my advice. I was a Realtor in PV, but now own a B&B here and I watch what happens with the market here and I would say buy sooner if possible.
