Walking Tours in Wilmington

Can anyone recommend a walking tour in Wilmington? Currently have reservations at the Rosehill Inn B&B. Has anyone stayed there? If so, what did you think? Nice part of town?

I recommend the Bob Jenkins Adventure Tour if he is still doing it. He is quite a character....but he is getting up in years and may not be doing the daily tour.

Any other tours? How are the carriage rides? Are they tours?

Just returned from Wilmington last week. Definitely skip the Hollywood Walking Tour - terribile unless you are into Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill.

One I would recommend is the Black Water Adventure Tour w/Wilminigton Water Tours. It is a 2 1/2 hr boat ride/tour down the Cape Fear River. Very relaxing and the tour guides were very knowledgeable about the river and Wilmington in general. The Wilmington Water Tours information booth and boat are between Orange & Anne St. by the riverwalk.

We took one of the carriage tours in April and had a lot of fun with it. It lasted around 30 minutes and we were able to see many of the old homes. The driver was knowledgeable about the history of the homes and was very friendly too. The carriage we rode was the one that sits on Market in between Water St and Front St.
