The Peninsula

We were considering moving to the Lake Norman area and this development was recommended to us. Any feedback/insight anyone has on this development and the surrounding area would be appreciated. Thanks

The Penninsula is a beautiful neighborhood. They have a Country Club with a golf course, tennis, marina and pool. You have to buy a membership to the club to enjoy these amenities. Just owning a home there does not give you privileges. The homes on the water are priced in the 1 to 4 million dollar range, most around 1.5 to 2 million, I would guess. Homes on interior lots are in the range of $600,000 to $2 million. There is lots of shopping and good restaurants in the area. About an hour drive into Charlotte during rush hour. You can get some info from cking out the website, crescent-resources.com and look under lake communities.

You might also want to look at The Point, a newer community on Lake Norman developed by the same developer Crescent Resources.

The Point is nice but outof the way. Both areas are beautifull but traffic is the worst. It is the reason we decided not to move there. We like the Ballantyne area.
