Secluded cabin in NC

My husband and I would like to rent a secluded cabin in NC that is close to a good fishing area and GSM park. Trip will be in late September. I've looked at a lot of cabin rentals online, but I'd like to get some recommendations based on your recent cabin stays in NC.

My husband and I stayed at Watershed's Acorn Bend cabin a few weeks ago. The cabin was just as pictured on the internet. It's beautiful and secluded. We had a great time.

My husband and I take an annual trip to the NC Mountains every year. We absolutely love staying at the Linville Falls Lodge and Cottages. The cottages are fantastic, beds wonderful, and the staff there are just wonderful. If you need anything, just ask and they will help. There are so many things to do in that area from hiking up to the falls (easy walk to lower falls, more expert for upper falls) taking drives up the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Driving to Boone for dinner, or exploring the caves which are just around the bend.

Here is the trip advisor page for the property. I hope you enjoy your visit to the mountains - they are lovely this time of year. tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g49295-d504701-…
